NARRATIVE: Today is Living History Day at the MAC (Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Spokane Fire Department is highlighted on the Top Floor-Orientation Gallery. Experience the SFD's rich past and step back in time and enjoy displays of early Fire Fighting in Spokane. The MAC is located at 2316 W. 1st Avenue and can be contacted at 509-456-3931. Also don't forget the Spokane Fire Department's Museum located at the SFD Training Center 1618 N Rebecca which is available for viewing by appointment at 509-625-7130 and managed by retired Deputy Fire Marshal Tommy Heckler.
