The Training will be offered March 18, from 8:30-4:00 pm. Cost is $40, including lunch. Ana-Marie Jones, Executive Director of CARD (Collaborating Agencies Responding to Disasters will be the guest facilitator.
During this training, you will:
- Learn how to move yourself, staff, clients and neighborhood beyond fear based or threat messages to action-based, empowering messages.
- Learn aspects of disaster planning that can make your agency and our community more resilient.
- Learn how to engage yourself and clients in simple, fun ways to become more personally prepared for any emergency.
Who Should Attend?
- Agencies concerned with persons who have specific communication, mobility or medical needs.
- Individuals who want to be better prepared for a disaster.
- Traditional first responders (Fire, Law Enforcement, DEM, Red Cross)
