Statement from Spokane Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer:
At the Spokane Fire Department we are deeply sadden to hear of the untimely passing of retired firefighter Ronny F. Weston. Firefighter Weston was hired by the department on March 1, 1999 and proudly served the community of Spokane for 14 years until his retirement on March 29, 2013. Our thought and prayers remain with his family and friends during this difficult time.
