NARRATIVE: All of Spokane Fire Department's on-duty companies were assigned today to multiple near-simultaneous events this afternoon. A first-alarm assignment was sent at 2:12 PM for smoke in the Burlington Northern building located at 5302 East Trent in far East Spokane. When companies arrived, the building was being evacuated as individuals reported smoke present on the interior.
