The total of four engines will assist replace existing in-service apparatus that are 30 years old (American LaFrance Engines built in 1978/1979).

The Engines were purchased from Pierce Manufacturing in Wisconsin at a cost of approximately $481,000 per engine. The Engines are designed to respond to All-Risk Situations such as EMS, Fire, Hazardous Material and Special Operations incidents and safely transport a company of four firefighters to the emergency.
