NARRATIVE: At 12:45 am on Monday April 11th the City of Spokane Fire Department responded 7 fire apparatus and 2 command personnel to 1118 East 33rd Ave to a working structure fire.
Station 11 located at 31st and Perry reported on the scene in less than 3 minutes from the time the alarm was called in.
They reported that a single story residence was fully involved in flame at the front of the house.
It was confirmed that all of the residents were out of the house. Fire attack was initiated and the main body of the fire was knocked down. Crews advanced attack leads into the interior and extinguished the fire that made its way into the living room.
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes. Overhaul will take two hours to make sure that the fire is out.
Red Cross was called to assist the 4 adults and 1 child that were driven from their home due to the fire.
The house suffered extensive damage due to the fire and smoke.
No injuries were reported.
This fire is under investigation
