NARRATIVE: We are announcing the graduation of Academy Class 2010-1. City of Spokane and Spokane Valley Fire Departments are graduating nineteen new firefighters in this session of the Regional Recruit Academy. Class 2010-1 is a combined class with recruits from both organizations. The delivery of the class was successful primarily due to the instructor's leadership and cooperation from both organizations. The class also shared a cadre of instructors and physical resources to ensure the high quality of learning and financial stewardship that the community expects from government.
