NARRATIVE: At 10:00 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2010 the Spokane Fire Department responded twenty firefighter on six trucks and two battalion chiefs to a reported structure fire at 2914 East Rowan. The first crew on scene SE15 reported a one- story structure fully involved. Initial reports indicated there may be victims trapped in the building. Fire companies made an aggressive fire attack along with a search for occupants. The fire was knocked down and a search was completed with no victims found inside the structure. Due to the extensive fire damage fire crews remained on scene throughout the night. There were no injuries to civilians or Fire Fighter.

At this time, the cause is under investigation by the Spokane Fire Departments Special Investigation Unit. The structure is a total loss.
