NARRATIVE: ALERT Spokane Testing is Scheduled for October 24-26th

Spokane County will soon conduct additional testing of the ALERT Spokane system:

. Sunday, October 24th - Noon-2:00 p.m.
. Monday, October 25th - 5:30-7:30 p.m.
. Tuesday, October 26th - 7:30-9:30 a.m.

If you are in one of the selected test areas you may receive a pre-recorded message on your landline telephone and/or your self-registered method of contact.

ALERT Spokane sends a telephone message to residents and businesses within the county that are impacted by, or in danger of being impacted, by an emergency or disaster. If you have a landline with Qwest, you are automatically in the ALERT Spokane database. However, if you use a cellular phone it must be self-registered with ALERT Spokane. Self-registration is also necessary for Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phones, email contacts, etc. as alternative methods of notification.
