NARRATIVE:
Spokane-area Fire and Law Enforcement representatives will conduct a press conference on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00 AM on details and expectations regarding the 17th year of a complete ban on the individual use of fireworks in Spokane. The conference will take place at the Regional Fire Training Center located at 1618 N. Rebecca.
The complete ban on the individual use of fireworks applies to the City of Spokane, City of Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney and the unincorporated areas of Spokane. By State law, all firecrackers, bottle rockets and missiles are illegal throughout Washington State with the exception of designated tribal land on Indian Reservations.
The public is invited to attend the major fireworks displays conducted by licensed pyrotechnicians at Riverfront Park and Liberty Lake on the night of July 4th.
