E Central House Fire-Update

Narrative:
This is an update on the cause of the House Fire at 2923 E. Central that occurred on Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012 at 0651 hours.

Members of the Spokane Fire Department's SIU have determined that the cause of the fire was accidental and occurred from smoking materials.  The investigation confirmed that the fire started in the basement.

Most of the fire damage was confined to the basement of the structure.  There was smoke and heat damage throughout the remainder of the basement and smoke damage on the main floor..

Cause:
Accidental from smoking material
