Narrative:
This is an update on the cause of the apartment fire at 1405 W 8th that occurred this morning, December 12, 2012 at 3:24 am.
Members of the Spokane Fire Department's SIU have determined that the cause of the fire appears to be smoking related and occurred in the bedroom of unit #9.
